CNN Report on Israeli Attack of Aid Convoy to the Gaza Strip

(CNN) -- Israeli commandos killed at least 10 people in pre-dawn raids on a flotilla of six ships carrying aid for the Palestinian territory of Gaza early Monday, the country's military said. "During the incident the soldier's lives were in danger," said a statement from the Israel Defense Forces. "They were attacked with severe physical violence, including live fire, bold weapons, knives and clubs." At least four Israeli soldiers were wounded, the military said. The boats left European ports in a consolidated protest organized by two pro-Palestinian groups to deliver tons of food and other aid to Gaza to break a blockade imposed by Israel in 2007 after militant group Hamas seized control of the territory. The Free Gaza Movement, one of the groups sponsoring the convoy, disputed Israel's claim of violence by people aboard the ships. What I think about Nut-Jobs Hijacking my RELIGION!

For many people, Islam may be considered a scary religion. For me, it is my life. What makes me the saddest is that it is completely the opposite of scary. We DO NOT believe in killing people, terrorizing people, or trying to get our point across through intimadating others. It's a little like someone labeling your child as a monster, and you know that your child is one of the kindest, sweetest children out there. I hope that people understand that as Muslims, we are OUTRAGED by these violent and MINDLESS acts of terror that are labeled "Islamic"'s NOT fair that in people's minds we are all catagorized under the umbrella of terrorists. These idiots that are holding these attacks are the biggest enemies to Islam! They are like a cancer corrupting a body...they are killing our rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness! I am mad! I want a wonderful, fruitful future for my family in MY AMERICA, MY HOME!

Statement on Times Square Bombing Plot

JAMAICA, New York (May 4, 2010) - In a press release issued today, the Islamic Circle of North America condemned, in strongest terms, the incident in Times Square on May 2, 2010 as a serious crime that goes against Islamic norms. Any activity resulting in injury or loss of innocent lives completely contradicts the teachings of Islam. This is grounded in the Noble Laws of Islam which forbid all forms of attacks on innocents. God Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another" (Qur'an 17:15). Dr. Zahid Bukhari, President of ICNA in a statement said, "ICNA condemns such acts of violence and we thank God, Almighty, that because of the wise and quick action of some citizens, police and law enforcement agencies no one was hurt or injured." He further stated that ICNA chapters in many cities throughout US are challenging the rhetoric of violence, for political or religious purposes, by trying to disseminate the true teaching
